The COVID-19 epidemic has been effectively controlled now. Vaccine research and development has been successful. Currently, vaccines have been implemented in most countries and most people in high-risk occupations in the country have been vaccinated.
With the epidemic under control, the social demand gradually recovered. After the New Year, the price rise of raw materials became crazy. Especially the rayon/nylon/poly/cotton/elastane increased a lot…Some item’s selling price is beyond the cost price. We received many new order inquiries, but the price is not workable. We have no choice but to increase the price with the risky of losing orders. The main reasons of the price increase my cased with two: 1. After the Covid-19 outbreak, countries have adopted the policy of quantitative easing economic stimulus, printing money, so more currency in central Banks will lead to the rise in prices of raw materials. Later, because the impact to the terminal after the flow of money sending to the market took time, so that the price of raw materials began to rise from the second half of last year. While the prices of the goods to the terminal began to rise only at the end of last year. This is caused by the price conduction of timeliness. 2. Output decline: since the global outbreak of the epidemic in 2020, many countries are all under the severe influence of COVID-19. The production of many enterprises has been affected, so products in the market fall short of demand, which will inevitably lead to the rise of product prices.
After CNY holiday 2021, raw material cost in textile industry skyrocketed. What is worse, due to shortage of raw material cost, bulk delivery is much longer than before. We are requiring our customers to double check price and delivery with us before order for safety sake. Hope this situation will get better soon.
